Course content: Phase I

Phase I of the course will encompass a range of themes relevant to global mental health and leadership:

  • Global mental health in the 21st century

  • Innovations in service delivery, working in the margins, & with special populations

  • Determinants of mental health

  • Mental health across the lifespan

  • Bridging the gap between evidence & policy

  • Leadership & Advocacy - building skills to lead mental health initiatives with impact

  • Research Methods & Ethics - strengthening evidence-based practice & implementation science

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from leading voices in the field of global mental health through an online format

Course content: Phase II

Phase II will be a hands-on interactive experience wherein participants get an opportunity to develop an intervention in a topic area they are interested in with the help of course tutors and peers.

A select group of participants from Phase I will be shortlisted to attend this immersive, in-person phase in Goa, India where they will be a part of:

  • Interactive lectures & workshops

  • Group activities designed to strengthen & further develop their ideas for global mental health interventions aligned with their areas of interest
